A pipe has burst. What should I do right now?
Turn off the water at the main stop tap, usually next to the water meter near your front boundary. Switch off the hot water system if it's leaking too, move valuables away from the water, then call us.
I can smell gas. What should I do?
Don't use light switches, phones or anything that could spark inside. Open doors and windows, turn the gas off at the meter if it's safe to, and leave the property. Call Jemena's gas emergency line on 131 909, or 000 if anyone is in danger. Once it's safe, call us to find and fix the leak.
Can you fix a blocked drain today?
Usually, yes. Most jobs are booked in the same day. We clear blocked sinks, toilets, showers and sewer lines, and use a CCTV drain camera and high-pressure water jetting for tree roots and stubborn blockages.
